After Microsoft brought four of its previously exclusive titles to PlayStation, whether it is or not, every game under the Xbox catalogue of titles feels like it could be up for grabs.
Which is what makes it less surprising to hear a rumour from leaker NateTheHate on Twitter that Machine Games upcoming Xbox exclusive, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will arrive on PS5, following a period of exclusivity on Xbox and PC.
What’s more is that NateTheHate claims this exclusivity period will be up sometime “in the first half of 2025.” If he’s right about that, then it means one of the biggest games in the Xbox’s lineup won’t even be an exclusive title for a full year before it goes to other platforms.
That’s the most surprising part of this – you’d think that if The Great Circle is primed to release as this great adventure game, then Microsoft might want to send the message that if you want to experience this anytime soon, you’ll need to grab it somewhere besides your PS5.
The fact that it might not even be a year before it’s on PS5 really shows even more so how Xbox’s strategy is just different to PlayStation’s. Though, with it being a game based off a major IP, it could also be a push from Disney that this game is available on everything as soon as possible.
All that said, this is not the first time we’ve heard Indiana Jones come up in conversations about what’ll be coming next to PS5 from Xbox. It even seems that Indiana Jones could be a part of another group of four games that’ll be coming to PlayStation.
So far the titles rumoured to be part of that four are: Indiana Jones, Starfield, and Forza Horizon 5.
