EA Sports Madden NFL 26 is set to launch on August 14, 2025, according to reliable leaker billbil-kun on website Dealabs.
The date is the same week that the NFL Preseason kicks off and just a few weeks before the September 4 launch of the main season. Furthermore, the report claims that Madden NFL 26 will receive a Deluxe Edition offering players three days of early access to the game on August 11, while EA Play members will receive a 10-hour trial also beginning on that date.

As for an official reveal, billbil-kun suggests that Madden NFL 26 will be unveiled at some point this week, where we will get confirmation whether it will come to other formats beyond the obvious PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S versions.
The latest entry in the series, Madden NFL 25, was developed by EA Orlando and released on August 16, 2024, so the rumoured August 14 date for this year’s game does stack up. There’s no details on the cover star yet, but last year featured Christian McCaffrey of the San Francisco 49ers on the cover.
Madden NFL 26 has yet to receive an official release date so take this with a pinch of salt until we hear something from EA, although traditionally billbil-kun is spot on with their leaks.
