Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls developer Quantic Dream may be on the verge of revealing a sequel to the PS2 game Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit in U.K.).
Having already confirmed last year that the studio would announce something exciting in January, speculation is rife that the game in question is linked to its 2005 interactive drama game, Indigo Prophecy.
Over at NEOGAF, readers were quick to point out the similarities between in style between the teaser’s site home page and the box art of its PS2 classic.
The words scrawled across the site, behind the bolded statement “7 Days”, have a connection with Indigo Prophecy. On the homepage we see words such as ‘Guilt,’ ‘Remorse’ and ‘Prophecy’ which tie in perfectly with the box-art for its 2005 title. Below, you can see the screenshot from the teaser site and the original box-art.
It was thought that Quantic Dream may be planning to reveal a sequel to Beyond: Two Souls, but the clues clearly point to another episode in its popular cinematic drama. Of course, we’d love to see another game in the Beyond: Two Souls series, but we’ll also be delighted if this turns out to be true. If so, we’ll be very interested to see whether it will be a PS4 exclusive, considering the last game in the series also appeaared on Xbox. Just seven days to wait to find out! Stay tuned.
