Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet proved a runaway success at this years Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences’ awards, notching up no fewer than eight gongs including Best Game and Best Game Direction.
The cutesy platform romp found itself up against some tough competition, including the likes of Konami’s Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Epic Games’ Gears of War 2.
Nonetheless, SackBoy proved too much for the likes of Old Snake and Marcus Fenix, stomping over both in a variety of categories, including Outstanding Achievement in Character Performance.
