Volition has announced its Saints Row 2023 roadmap, and from the look of things the studio has been a busy bee, with a bunch of new DLC on the horizon as well as various quality-of-life improvements.
Saints Row will receive DLC expansions in May, July, and August, which between them will add new content including extra campaign missions, gameplay, weapons, vehicles, cosmetics and more. It’ll come free as part of the Expansion Pass, but if you don’t have that, yo can purchase the DLC separately.
We’re super excited to be able to share an update on what we’ve been working on since you last heard from us. But first, a big THANK YOU to everyone for reaching out on our social channels, we really appreciate all your feedback since launch and we have tried to incorporate what we can into our future Quality of Life updates – which we’re incredibly excited for you to get your hands on!
One of the biggest features coming to Saints Row is the new city districts, which will be free to all players regardless if you have the DLC or not. One of the new districts is known as Sunshine Springs, and will be made available alongside the first expansion in May.

MAY
- The Heist and The Hazardous Campaign DLC – comes with the Expansion Pass
- Sunshine Springs New District – Free for all players
- Quality of Life Update – including Selfie Mode, combat improvements and so SO much more – Free for all players
JULY
- Doc Ketchum’s Murder Circus New Game Mode – comes with the Expansion Pass
- Quality of Life Update – more to be revealed – free for all players
AUGUST
- Expansion 3 – Campaign DLC – included in the Expansion Pass
- New district – more to be revealed – Free for all players
- Quality of Life Update – more to be revealed – free for all players
Saints Row was released for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in August 2022, although the game was reportedly not a major commercial success, putting the future of the franchise up in the air.
