Saints Row IV has officially gone gold, publisher Deep Silver has revealed.
In addition, the company also announced that gamers can pre-order the Saints Row IV Season Pass at participating retailers for $9.99/£7.99/€9.99. This will be available for the PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game.
Saints Row IV pass owners will receive the Enter the Dominatrix ‘Director’s Cut’ DLC, which gives you a suitably tongue-in-cheek look at how the content was originally conceived. This will be available to snap up in late 2013 alongside a second mission pack. Finally, you’ll also receive the ‘Rectifier’ anal probe weapon, which is a pass-exclusive.
All in all, the Season Pass will give you more than $15/£12/€15 worth of extra content to enjoy.
Saints Row IV is scheduled to ship for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 on August 20 in the U.S. and in Europe on August 23. The game centres around an alien invasion, with the leader of the Saints having assumed the role of President of the United States following the events of Saints Row: The Third.
