Can’t wait for Saints Row IV’s release later this month? Then developer Volition has a solution for you: craft your own unique character weeks in advance so he/she will be ready to blast alien scum come launch day.
This comes courtesy of the new Inauguration Station, a software creation tool for PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE allowing you to create your own Saints Row IV character ahead of release.
In addition to cobbling together a hero/heroine from scratch, gamers can also import their character from Saints Row: The Third and tweak them accordingly, or share other players’ creations.
Saints Row IV is due out on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 in the U.S. on August 20 and in Europe on August 23. The game sees the leader of the Saints elected President of the United States, who is tasked with combating an alien invasion with an array of super powers and crazy weaponry.
