Though it was just recently revealed that Will Arnett will act as the voice for Sweet Tooth, he doesn’t really look like the person you’d expect to see in the role.
Samoa Joe on the other hand, former WWE US Champion, is more the kind of person you’d expect to see in the role. Which is why it makes perfect sense that he’s been revealed to be Peacock’s choice for the iconic character.
The news was reported by website Deadline, and Samoa Joe will now join the aforementioned Will Arnett, along with Anothony Mackie and Neve Campbell in this eclectic cast.
This upcoming Twisted Metal show is just one of the projects currently in the works through PlayStation Productions, the official branch of PlayStation for Sony to help produce all these adaptations.
The only problem remains that we’ve seen very little of what is being worked on, with the Uncharted film being the only example fans have for how these adaptations are going.
Hopefully as more shows progress, like HBO’s upcoming The Last Of Us show, we will see more support behind these projects from fans, who are more skeptical now than anything else.
