During a sit down interview with Glen Schofield, General Manager and Co-Founder of Sledgehammer Games, at the Call of Duty XP event in Los Angeles last weekend, PSU was given a hint about what to expect from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
When asked if Juggernauts will make a return in MW3, being the next-to-unstoppable forces that they were in MW2, Schofield had the following to say:
“Oh you bet they are, yeah, you might even get to play as one.” he said.
One can only wonder if that means that there will be a part where the player controls a slow-moving, ass-kicking juggernaut in the campaign mode. It has already been shown that there is the ability to don juggernaut armor in Spec Ops mode, but I’d be surprised if that functionality and design was only built into Spec Ops, and not the single player aspect of the game as well.
We’ll have to find out when Modern Warfare 3 is released this November 8 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, Wii and DS.
