SEGA’s announced plans to resurrect its Sega Ages retro series for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.
Beginning in spring 2012, the newly-dubbed Sega Ages Online offers spruced up versions of classic titles, featuring Trophy/Achievement support, juke box music playback, replay saving and world rankings. Gamers will be able to plump for both the domestic and international versions of each title.
Japanese PS3 gamers will have to fork out 600 yen for each game individually, with the first slew of retro classics including Alex Kidd Miracle World, The Super Shinobi, Super Hang-On, Wonder Boy Monster Land, Wonder Boy V, Monster World III and Monster World IV.
