SEGA bringing Valkyria Chronicles sequel to PSP

The latest issue of Famitsu magazine has revealed that SEGA is currently working on a follow up to Valkyria Chronicles for PlayStation Portable.

Known as Senjo no Valkyria 2: Gallia Ourisshikan Gakkou in the land of the rising sun, which translates roughly to Valkyria Chronicles 2: Gallia Military Academy for us westerners, the sequel pits you in the shoes of fellow Ranseal Royal Military Academy student, Aban Hadens.

According to the publication, the concepts of the title centre on ‘school’ and ‘war,’ with the action taking place in 1937, a full two years after the events of its predecessor. 3D battles have also been confirmed to appear in the sequel, though further information is currently under wraps at this point.

Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks.
