Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe has today apparently filed some new trademarks which may give an indication of what is going to be announced at its E3 2017 press conference later today.
The most exciting of which is ‘Shadow of the Colossus’, the classic PS2 action-adventure which stole our hearts back in 2006. Sony then brought it to the PS3, and it’s available at the moment to stream through PlayStation Now.
However, could a Shadow of the Colossus PS4 remake be on the cards? And if Sony does reveal it, will Ico, also a classic game from Sony Japan Studio (Team Ico), also get a PS4 remake? We’ll have to wait and see! Of course, it could just be that the game is being added to the PS2 classic range on PS4.
Shadow of the Colossus was released on PlayStation 2 back in 2006, and went on to sell 2.7 million copies worldwide. The game proved a critical success, and won numerous awards, including Best Game at the Game Developer’s Choice Awards.
Another Sony trademark apparently registered today was ‘That’s You!’ which is rumored to be some kind of party game.
Stay tuned for all the breaking news from E3 2017.
