Ys Net has released a dazzling new batch of Shenmue 3 screenshots fresh from the recent Monaco Anime Game International Conferences (MAGIC).
This latest bunch of images offer a sumptuous look at the scenery surrounding the picturesque mountain community of Guilin, which fans should recognise from the closing hour or so of Shenmue 2. Once again, Shenhua Ling is featured heavily in the screenshots.

Shenmue 3 is currently in development for the PlayStation 4 and PC, and is tentatively due for release in December 2017. The game was announced at Sony’s E3 press conference last year as a Kickstarter-backed project, with the game eventually raising over $6 million on the crowdfunding website.
In fact, Shenmue 3’s success on Kickstarter put it into the record books as the fastest video game project on the website to hit the one million mark. While the Kickstarter itself has ended, gamers can still donate to the project using the Slacker Back campaign.
Shenmue 3 continues the story of Ryo Hazuki in the year 1987, as he continues his search for Lan Di, the mysterious Chinese martial artist who brutally murdered Hazuki-san’s father at the beginning of the original game.
