Shenmue and Shenmue 2 Producer Yu Suzuki has posted what first appears to be a random image of a forklift truck on his Twitter page.
Fans of the series have been putting two-and-two together to come to the conclusion that the picture represents Ryu’s work as a forklift truck driver early in the series. It seems too coincidental to mean anything else, and definitely suggests we’re in for some big Shenmue news next week.

What we don’t know at this point is whether we’re about to be treated to a Shenmue HD remaster, a brand new Shenmue 3, or even both!
