I am writing today to let you know that studio head Shinji Mikami has decided to leave Tango Gameworks in the coming months. Mikami-san has been a creative leader and supportive mentor to young developers at Tango for 12 years through his work on The Evil Within franchise, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and of course, Hi-Fi RUSH.
Mikami-san is best known as the creator of the Resident Evil franchise, having worked with Capcom for 16 years. He founded Tango Gameworks in 2010, where he once again dabbled in horror with The Evil Within and The Evil Within 2.
The Resident Evil creator also went on to work on Ghostwire Tokyo and the recently launched Hi-Fi RUSH.
