Shinji Mikami working on survival horror game

Japanese publication Famitsu has confirmed that Shinji Mikami’s Tango Gameworks is busy chiselling away on a new survival horror title.

According to the magazine, the game is currently known by the codename Zwei and is pencilled in for release in 2013.

Mikami previously commented that the game, which will be Tango’s debut project, is to be his last in a director capacity.

Tango was founded back in 2010 before quickly being snapped up by ZeniMax Media. Of course, survival horror is no stranger to the likes of Mikami, who was a driving force behind the genre’s revival in the late 90s with Resident Evil and Dino Crisis.
