Sifu is getting its biggest free expansion so far in the Arenas expansion that’ll arrive on March 28, 2023.
It’ll add nine new locations for five new game modes, with 45 challenges across each mode for players to overcome on their path to being a martial arts master.
The new expansion release will also be when Sifu’s PlayStation and PC exclusivity ends, as it’ll release on Xbox consoles as well on the 28th.
You can check out the new gameplay trailer for the Arenas expansion for yourself, here.
The new game modes being added are:
- Survival
- Performance
- Time Attack
- Capture
- Manhunt
Survival is exactly what it sounds like, where you simply need to survive in the face of waves of enemies.
Performance will have you trying to make everything as perfect and clean as possible, for a higher score.
Time Attack has you completing levels against the clock, and Manhunt mode asks you to take out a specific target, while having to deal with a horde of protectors around them.
Finally Capture mode asks you to hold a specific area until there are none left to oppose you, a king-of-the-hill kind of situation.
According to developer Sloclap, these new modes and all the specific challenges they provide add another 10 hours of gameplay for players to sink their martial art teeth into.
