Bloober Team’s recently-announced Silent Hill 1 Remake has been in development for around three years, according to prominent horror insider, Dusk Golem on X.
Speaking on X regarding Konami’s upcoming plans for the long-running psychological horror series, Golem suggested that Silent Hill 1 Remake is due out in 2027, following the release of Silent Hill F (confirmed for September 2025 ) and Silent Hill Townfall in 2026. He also claims that a new Silent Hill game is being developed internally, but nothing official has been announced yet, and Golem noted that the schedule is “subject to change at the whims of game dev.”

Silent Hill 1 Remake was announced by Bloober Team during a livestream back in June 2025, although all we got was a brief logo accompanied by a snippet of the original game’s intro music. Silent Hill was originally released for PSOne in 1999, and sees protagonist Harry Mason searching the foggy town for his missing daughter, Cheryl, and finds the streets infested with grotesque creatures.
While we wait for Silent Hill 1 Remake to arrive, fans have Silent Hill F to look forward too, which arrives for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on September 25.
