Silent Hill 2 PS5 Update 1.07 Out Now, Brings Improvements To Performance & Quality Modes – Full Patch Notes Listed

Konami and Bloober Team have released a new Silent Hill 2 Remake update that addresses a number of lingering issues with the survival horror title. The highlights of this patch include improvements to Performance and Quality modes, while the shadow flickering issues have also been addressed. Silent Hill 2 was released for the PS5 and PC in October 2024, and arrived on Xbox Series X/S the following year. The game is a full remake of the 2001 psychological horror classic, featuring completely revamped character models, environments, and all-new voice acting. Furthermore, Bloober Team has expanded key areas such as the Hospital and Woodside Apartments, complete with new puzzles and areas to explore, while combat has also been brought up to modern standards.
