Konami has officially announced a Silent Hill 2 Remake during its Silent Hill Transmission event today, and the game will be a console exclusive to the PS5 for 12 months.
The game will feature input from famed feature designer Masahiro Ito, who previously worked on the first three Silent Hill games, while composer Akira Yamaoka will also be involved in the project. As previously reported, the game is being developed by Bloober Team.

We’re then treated to various other location from the game, as well as dialogue that seems to match the original script almost word-for-word.

Silent Hill 2 Remake is currently in development for PS5 and PC, but has yet to attract a release date.
