Silent Hill 2 Remake is out today for PS5 and PC nearly two years after it was first announced, and developer Bloober Team has patched the game to remove a major spoiler brought on by a localisation bug. While the official Silent Hill 2 Remake update 1.003 patch notes haven’t been revealed yet, we do have a few days for you below.
Italian players have reported that a translation error revealed major plot spoilers within the first 30 minutes of the game, and notified Bloboer Team, who have since responded with a fix. A Reddit threat reveals that one of the players contacted the studio about the issue over a week ago, noting that it appears to have been fixed in this patch.
