Konami has announced that Silent Hill f has surpassed one million sales globally since its launch on September 25, 2025, and what’s more, it achieved the milestone in just one day — faster than last year’s Silent Hill 2 Remake.
Silent Hill f is the first brand new entry in the series since Silent Hill Downpour back in 2012 (Silent Hill Book of Memories on the PS Vita wasn’t a proper mainline instalment), and was developed by NeoBards. Unlike the majority of the games however, this latest entry in the psychological horror franchise does not take place in Silent Hill itself, but rather a remote Japanese community in the 1960s.

Speaking in wake of the sales milestone, Konami commented (via translation):
The remake of Silent Hill 2, released last year, surpassed one million units shipped worldwide within a week of its release, but Silent Hill F is growing in shipments at an even faster pace in each region, including Japan. As the latest instalment in the series, it has been met with a great response both at home and abroad.

Silent Hill f teenager Shimizu Hinako as fog consumes the town of Ebisugaoka, with the twisting streets soon infested with grotesque creatures. As the town falls silent, Hinako finds herself exploring Ebisugaoka while solving complex puzzles and fighting to stay alive while confronting the malevolent presence that has befallen the town.
