Silent Hill 2 Remake is currently in the works at Bloober Team, but Konami’s latest earnings call has suggested that there may be more than one remake project for the series in the pipeline.
The publisher used the term ‘remakes’ when talking about its future plans for the series, although it could simply an honest mistake. Nonetheless, it’s interesting to note for the time being, as we’re still waiting to hear more info on Silent Hill 2 Remake over a year since it was first announced.
As for ongoing efforts, we are working diligently on Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, which faithfully recreates the story, characters, and game design of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, one of the most beloved entries in the Metal Gear series, and updates its graphical style to modern graphics for the current generation, as well as remakes and completely new entries in the Silent Hill series, which gained popularity as a psychological horror game.
Silent Hill 2 Remake has yet to attract a release date, but it’s pretty unlikely it’ll launch in 2023 at this point. The original Silent Hill was released for PS2 back in 2001 and is widely regarded as one of the greatest horror games ever made, and the best instalment in the franchise.
