Team17 and Wych Elm have announced that Silver Pines is launching on October 8, 2026 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S
Silver Pines takes place in the titular rundown American town, where we find Red Walker, a private investigator, spurred on by a mysterious phone call that simply asks, “Find Eddie Velvet.” Walker embarks on his quest, which combines classic survival horror puzzle solving and resource management, as you explore a seemingly abandoned town while unearthing its mysteries and nightmares.
Billed as a love letter to classic survival horror — the genre popularised by Alone in the Dark and Resident Evil — Silver Pines takes place from a 2.5D perspective, and sees players fighting or evading the various terrors that inhabit the town while hunting for valuable resources and solving complex riddles. With limited inventory space, you must carefully manage your resources while considering ammo, medicine and upgrade components to stay alive.
Along the way, you’ll brush shoulders with a number of strange individuals from Silver Pines while soaking up the dreamlike visuals, which featured hand-painted, rotoscoped animations peppered with Neo-noir inspired aesthetics, making for a graphically striking experience.
