Dontnod Entertainment has released some grisly new Vampyr gameplay footage for your to sink your fangs into.
This latest video comes from the recent Gamescom 2016 demo of the upcoming gothic-infused action-adventure title, and depicts main protagonist Jonathan Reid skulking around the cobbles of London’s backstreets in the dead of night.
Naturally, it doesn’t take long for the doctor-turned-creature-of-the-night to run into a spot of trouble, and he’s soon unleashing his vampyric powers upon a gang of thugs. Check out the game in action below.

Vampyr is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in 2017. Powered by the Unreal Engine 4, the game takes place in 1918 during the Spanish Flu pandemic following the Great War, where Reid must come to terms with his newfound powers and bloodlust.
Gamers are given the option of submitting to their blood-thirsty nature and feeding on human victims, which in turn awards Reid with new powers and nourishment. On the flip side, killing innocents will have direct consequences to the story, but you won’t be able to level up if you opt to spare lives.
