Siren: Blood Curse has been popped up on the Korean Game Rating Board eight years after the grisly horror title saw a release on PlayStation 3.
Interestingly, the game, which was released episodically before seeing a physical Blu-ray launch, appears on the ratings board under its western title. Back in 2008, the game was known as Siren: New Translation in Japan and Asia.
Quite why the game has been rated again after all this time is currently unknown, but speculation would suggest Sony is working on a PS4 Remaster of the game.
Developed by SCE Studio Japan, Siren first launched back in 2003 on the PlayStation 2 and received a follow-up, Forbidden Siren 2, three years later. Siren: Blood Curse is a reimagining of the first game and to date is the latest entry in the series.
Last year it was rumored that the franchise would be making a comeback on PS4; however, these reports turned out to be false.
