Siren is coming to PS4 — Report

A Sony press release for Romania has seemingly confirmed that Siren is in development for the PlayStation 4.

Spotted by NeoGAF (via pixelenemy), the press release mentions the survival horror title by name alongside a host of other upcoming PS4 projects.

“Sony Computer Entertainment studios from all around the world are developing over 30 titles and among them are games like inFamous: Second Son, The Order: 1886, Siren, Hell Divers, Shadow of the Beast and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture,” it reads.

Developed by SCE Japan Studio, Siren started out life on the PlayStation 2 in 2003, and spawned one sequel, Forbidden Siren 2. The franchise was re-imagined for the western market five years ago with the blood-curdling Siren: Blood Curse on PSN/PS3.

The series adheres to many staples of the survival horror series, though is also known for incorporating the innovative ‘sight jacking’ system, allowing players to see through the eyes of their enemies.

Sony has yet to mention Siren for PS4 in any other press materials, though hopefully we’ll hear something else on the game soon — that is, assuming the above information is genuine.
