Devolver Digital’s Skate Story has been confirmed as a day-one release on the PS Plus Game Catalog on December 8, 2025, a post on the PlayStation Blog has revealed.
Skate Story is set to launch for PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch, and while the Dec. 8 date was previously announced back in October, we didn’t know until this week that it would also be arriving as part of the PS Plus Game Catalog lineup on the same day.

Skate Story has players taking on the role of a demon of the underworld, who has been given a skateboard by the Devil with the goal of skating to the Moon and swallowing it, earning your freedom in the process. Your skateboarding journey is packed full of ollies, kick flips, and grinding as you navigate the Emptylands to accomplish your goal.
Players will have to learn how to master their weight and motion not conquer obstacles in their way, while ramping up your speed allows you to vanquish demonic hordes. Your journey will also see you helping out a forgetful frog and saving other tortured souls as you transition from frail beginner to a hardened skater.
Skate Story launches on Dec. 8 and will be available as part of the PS Plus Game Catalog on the same day.
