Sky Is Officially Expanding Its Horizons To PlayStation Platforms

The studio behind Sky has announced that it is actively working on bringing the game to PlayStation formats, although a release date has yet to be confirmed.

Speaking on the official Sky website, thatgamecompany revealed that it has always been its goal to expand the game to other formats so that people can gather regardless of what platform they are playing on. Having originally launched on iOS in 2019, Sky has since come to Android and Nintendo Switch, with PlayStation next in line.

There’s a lot to prepare to welcome these new players, and we look forward to sharing more details in the future. Rest assured, though, that PlayStation will have crossplay with other platforms so that Sky children can meet friends joining on mobile or Switch (in fact, beta testers may see certain changes in forthcoming test updates as we get everything ready for PlayStation folks).
