Skyrim Special Edition is due out for PS4, PC, and Xbox One on October 28, 2016. The game features the base version of the critically acclaimed open-world title alongside all three expansions, plus various graphical enhancements including volumetric lighting and dynamic depth of field. In addition, the game also includes full mod support for home consoles.
Bethesda recently confirmed how much space the PS4 version will take up on your hard drive, so be sure to make sure you have enough spare room on your console ahead of release.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was originally released for PS3, PC, and Xbox 360 back in November 2011, where it garnered critical acclaim and went on to sell over 20 million copies worldwide. The game is set within the mountain region of Skyrim to the north of Tamriel, and features a sprawling open-world to explore ripe with side quests, potentially offering hundreds of hours of gameplay.
Despite calls for a sequel, Bethesda has maintained that The Elder Scrolls 6 is still a long way off, and is not currently in production.
