Bethesda has confirmed that its upcoming Dawnguard expansion for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is substantially larger than anything the company churned out for Fallout 3.
Speaking with Gamefront, lead artist Matt Carofano revealed that the Vamp-tastic DLC will clock in at around 10-20 hours, though won’t be quite as meaty as Oblivion’s lauded Shivering Isles pack.
“It’ll take between 10 and 20 hours to beat. It’s about as long as a faction line,” said Carofano. “Dawnguard will be significantly bigger than any Fallout DLC.”
“We wanted to do something more in depth than that. It’s not as big as Shivering Isles, but there’s still a lot of content there.”
Dawnguard centres on the eponymous Vampire-hunting faction and arrives as a timed-exclusive for Xbox 360 on June 26. It’ll arrive on PlayStation 3 and PC later this summer.
