Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City developer Slant Six Games has been hit with a number of layoffs, the company has confirmed.
The Vancouver-based studio, which also worked on a number of games in the SOCOM franchise, said that the redundancies were hoped to be only temporary, as it plans to reinstate those affected.
Speaking to GameSpot, a Slant Six spokesperson commented: “We are working very hard on new business prospects so we can reinstate every single person affected.”
“As an independent and close-knit studio it is a very difficult but necessary business measure due to the current project cycle demands.”
