Sledgehammer’s CoD game is a FPS

A job listing posted by Sledgehammer Games has revealed that the company’s self-described ‘action adventure’ Call of Duty title will adhere to the series’ traditional first person perspective.

The listing itself reads: “Sledgehammer Games is actively recruiting top industry talent to join the Call of Duty FPS development team," putting an end to reports suggesting that the game may in fact be a third-person offering.

Little else is known on the project, though the recently trademarked Call of Duty: Space Warfare has ignited Internet speculation stating that this is in fact the game which Sledgehammer is working on.

Sledgehammer was formed back in November 2009 by former Visceral Games duo Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey.
