Developer Snowblind Studios has made no secret of the fact that it plans to make The Lord of the Rings: War in the North the most brutal game ever to be set in Tolkien’s wonderful universe. Having already seen a handful of violent trailers for the action RPG, showcasing some of the fast-paced, weapon-based combat and some brutal finishing animations, it’s clear that Snowblind really wants to drive home the fact that The Lord of the Rings: War in the North will feature a compelling combat system.
This latest vignette continues the trend of combat-orientated videos with plenty of action-packed sword-slashing fight sequences as axes, spears and arrows rip and tear human and beast flesh to shreds.
A release date for The Lord of the Rings: War in the North has yet to be confirmed.
