Zipper’s upcoming SOCOM 4 will feature support for Sony’s Move. The Move will also feature an optional sub controller, which will be used in SOCOM 4. The sub controller will move the character around on screen, while the Move motion controller will control the cross hairs and camera.
This technology will be available to use throughout the entire game, although at this point it’s optional.
Other games highlighted at Sony’s press conference included Sports Champions, which appears to have a host of casual games like table tennis and sword fighting, and Move Party, another casual game that seems to offer some personalized motion enjoyment.
LittleBigPlanet was also demoed, showing off what we can expect. One person will use the normal controller to move their sack person, while the other will use Move to adjust, or move, various objects in-game. The Move wand will be able to drag blocks, pull down springs, and rotate different objects.
