Retro platformer Sonic CD will be released in the U.S. on PlayStation Network on December 20, SEGA has confirmed.
The game, originally released on the Mega CD back in 1993, hits the European PSN today and includes Tails as an unlockable character and features the original Japanese and North American soundtracks.
Sonic CD sees the Blue Blur attempting to stop the nefarious Dr. Eggman from taking control of time by pinching the Time Stones from Little Planet. If that wasn’t enough, Sonic also has his hands full trying to save Amy Rose, who has something of a mega crush on our hero.
