The South Korean Game Content Rating Committee has issued a rating for SEGA‘s upcoming Sonic X Shadow Generations, following the publisher’s announcement of celebrating all things Shadow of the Hedgehog with Fearless: Year of Shadow.
There’s not much to garner from the rating but the fact it’s been posted implies the game is on track for its launch later this year.
Sonic X Shadow Generations is a remaster of the 2011 Sonic Generations, which was a 20th anniversary title that featured a mix of classic side-scrolling Sonic levels with modern 3D variations. The game actually featured two Sonics; one styled on the 90s 2D titles, and a more updated version from then-most recent titles.

The remaster features the addition of Shadow the Hedgehog in his own dedicated stages, so it’s more than just Sonic Generations with a fresh coat of paint.
Sonic X Shadow Generations is slated for release in the third quarter of 2024 on PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
