In a considered bid to keep the momentum swinging its way Sony has taken to its official U.S. PlayStation Blog to detail two new headsets for use on both PS3 and PS4.
The Silver Wired Stereo Headset, priced at $69.99 (MSRP), is jam-packed with distinctive features, all of which are detailed in the rundown below.
– Immersive 7.1 virtual surround sound.
– Custom audio modes created by developers specifically for PlayStation games.
– Retractable boom mic for voice chat while playing online.
– Breathable ear cushions and a lightweight design for hours of gameplay.
– In-line volume and mic controls.
An ‘extremely’ limited edition Glacier White version of Sony’s Gold Wireless Stereo Headset has also been touted in celebration of Destiny’s release and starting tomorrow, the game will also get a designated audio mode within PS4/PS3’s Headset Companion application so you can experience the game in the exact way intended.
Both headsets can be used on PS Vita, too, among many other mobile devices.
