Sony brushes off claims that PS4 lacks triple-A titles this holiday season

Jim Ryan, President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE), has played down suggestions that PlayStation 4 is lacking in triple-A title this holiday season following a string of delays.

Titles such as The Order: 1886 and Batman: Arkham Knight, which were originally scheduled to arrive before the end of the year, will now arrive in 2015.

However, Ryan feels there’s no cause for alarm.

“Not at all. We have The Last of Us: Remastered this summer, and Destiny in early September and then everything will accelerate with FIFA, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, DriveClub … and the list goes on, there is no reason to worry,” he told GameKult.

“I forgot to mention LittleBigPlanet 3, inFamous First Light, SingStar … Moreover, much of the games from third-party publishers come with exclusive content and access, so I am not worried."
