Sony Confirms New PS5 Beta Is Dropping Tomorrow, Adds Personalised 3D Audio Profiles & New Remote Play Settings

Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed that it will be rolling out a new PS5 beta tomorrow, which will implement a couple of new features including personalised 3D audio profiles.

With personalised 3D audio profile, you can run a sound quality test for devices such has Pulse Elite wireless headset or Pulse Explore wireless earbuds to analyse a number of factors to create a profile that fits your individual hearing characteristics.

To do this, you simply head to Settings > Sound > 3D Audio on your PS5, and follow the on-screen instructions. You can then save your audio profile on the console, and also select from 3D audio presets as before.

You can now adjust Remote Play settings per user and choose who is allowed to connect to your PS5 console using Remote Play. So, if your friends or family members come over and sign in to your PS5 console with their account for PlayStation Network, you can easily modify who can continue to access your PS5 console using Remote Play when they leave.

To adjust these settings, go to [Settings] > [System] > [Remote Play] > [Enable Remote Play], and choose which user you want to enable access to your PS5 console through Remote Play.

Sony earlier this week launched a new PS5 system software update, which you can read more about here.
