PlayStation 4’s Share button has been used more than 6.5 million times since the launch of the console last month, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) has revealed (via DualShockers).
The figure comes following the announcement that Sony’s next-generation console has sold more than 2.1 million hardware units globally since its debut on November 15 in the U.S.
Share allows gamers to showcase screenshots and videos of their chosen game via various social media websites, including Twitter, Facebook, Ustream and Twitch.TV.
Sony previously confirmed that PS4 has broken sales records in the U.K., becoming the fastest-selling system in the country and dethroning the PlayStation Portable in the process.
