The next State of Play broadcast could take place on April 16, according to trusted insider NateTheHate on X.
Earlier this week, the leaker revealed that he had heard whispers that a new State of Play would be happening soon, and when asked if it would be June, he replied it should be “well before that date based on what I’ve heard.” He then followed this up with a post stating that “the unconfirmed date I’ve heard for the next potential State of Play: April 16th.”
This also happens to be the same date that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag: Resynced is reported to be revealed in full, although Nate wasn’t sure if this meant it would show up at State of Play.
Sony’s last State of Play was back in February, and while there’s no confirmation of what games will appear at the next broadcast, Nate has suggested it might be geared towards third-party studios. Again, this is all speculation, so take it with a pinch of salt for the time being.
