Sony ‘doesn’t know’ if Monster Hunter 4 will come to Vita

Hiroshi Kawano, president of Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ), has admitted he’s unsure as to whether or not Capcom will bring Monster Hunter 4 to PlayStation Vita.

The series has previously enjoyed huge success on Sony’s aging PlayStation Portable handheld, with 2010’s Monster Hunter Portable 3rd moving just shy of five million units in Japan alone.

However, fans were a little flustered when Capcom took the wraps off the fourth game at the Tokyo Game Show this week and confirmed the sequel would be released for theNintendo 3DS.

Quizzed by Reuters if the game would eventually make it to PS Vita, Kawano-san replied, “I don’t know,” adding, “You will have to ask Capcom.”
