Sony has promised heavy-hitting, global announcements at this August’s Leipzig Games Convention.
During a Sony Computer Entertainment Europe media briefing, SCEE president David Reeves informed MCV that the company still has some tricks up its sleeve after this year’s E3.
"We feel now that we have a pattern globally which is E3, Tokyo Games Show and Leipzig – it gives us three bites of the cherry to come out with our announcements," remarked Reeves. "We cannot tailor all our announcements to July."
He also ensured that global announcements are part of Sony’s Leipzig arsenal as well, despite having "a number of things which is real blockbuster stuff for Europe."
