Another Sony Europe executive will leave the firm at the end of the month. Jamie MacDonald, the London Studios chief and World Wide Studios VP, will exit the company on May 29. Neither MacDonald nor SCEE have commented on his departure.
MacDonald was responsible for overseeing the introduction of EyeToy, SingStar, and The Getaway. He joined Sony’s London Studio in 2001. A promotion in 2005 gave him responsibility over both the London and Cambridge studios.
You may recall that SingStar boss Paulina Bozek left Sony’s London studio to join Atari/Infogrames late last year. There’s no word on MacDonald’s future at this time.
