Sony is gearing up for yet another annual Gamescom shindig next week, with the format holder scheduling a press conference at the Cologne-based event for Tuesday, August 12.
All eyes will be on the hardware giant to deliver another knockout blow to its leading rival, Microsoft, hopefully in the shape of some hard-hitting game announcements and perhaps a few surprises thrown in for good measure.
As with previous years, Sony will be streaming the conference for your viewing pleasure, so be sure to set your sights on this link at the following times to get in on the action:
10.00 am PDT / 13.00 EDT / 6.00 pm BST / 7.00 CEST / 3.00 am EST (Wednesday, August 13)
So, what exactly does Sony have up its sleeves for Gamescom? Well, we already know that the likes of The Order: 1886, The Unfinished Swan, The Last of Us: Remastered, and Bloodborne will be putting in an appearance, but the company’s also promised a few surprises are in store, too.
We’ve already speculated that this may include Until Dawn, the former PlayStation 3-exclusive teen horror project that has seemingly been moved to PS4. However, it’s really anyone’s guess at this point.
Feel free to chat among yourselves about Gamescom in the comments section below, and stay tuned to PSU for all the latest news starting early next week.
