Sony Interactive Entertainment has reconfirmed during its latest earnings call overnight that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Ghost of Yotei are both due out on PS5 during its fiscal year 2025.
On the subject of Ghost of Yotei, both former Sony Interactive Entertainment indie boss Shuhei Yoshida and PlayStation executive Hermen Hulst as their most anticipated games of 2025. The game is currently in development at Sucker Punch Productions, and is the follow-up to the highly successful Ghost of Tsushima.

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach meanwhile is currently in development at Kojima Productions, and features a number of major stars including Norman Reedus, Elle Fanning, Troy Baker, and Léa Seydoux. Hideo Kojima confirmed earlier this week that he will be hosting a special panel for Death Stranding 2 at SXS2 2025 on March 9, where new details about the sequel will be revealed.
