If you haven’t experienced PlayStation3 games or Blu-ray movies in surround sound, you don’t know what you are missing. Sony has put together an all-in-one speaker system to give PS3 owners that surround sound experience.
The Surround Sound System will be available in North America, Europe/PAL territories, and Asian countries this fall. The system will feature Sony’s S-Force PRO Front Surround Sound. Four sound fields of the speaker were designed with the help of Sony Computer Entertainment to optimize the cinematic experience.
The system comes with two audio inputs – an optical audio input for high-end entertainment systems like the PS3, and an analog input for portable devices like the PSP.
Pricing for the system is $199 USD, 199 euros, and 19,800 yen.
