Sony "rolling out" PSN Cards to retailers

After what is creeping on close to a year, Sony has finally confirmed that it will be releasing the PlayStation Network Cards this spring.

These cards allow gamers that do not possess a credit card, or who do not feel comfortable conducting online transactions, to be able to buy a card filled with either $20 or $50 worth of credit to be used toward any purchase on the PlayStation Store.

News that the cards would finally be hitting the shelves comes from Peter Dille, Sony Computer Entertainment’s PlayStation Network Senior VP.

"We are rolling out the PlayStation Cards to retailers nationwide as we speak. They will have the PlayStation Cards in denominations of $20 and $50 starting this spring."

So those have you that have not made any purchases on the PLAYSTATION Store because of this situation, be sure to keep on the look out for those bright orange PSN cards at your local retailer.
