Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced an update to the PS5 Welcome Hub has rolled out for players to enjoy, which adds a new widget showcasing stats for recent games, plus a dynamic animated background that alters with each season.
The Welcome Hub was released back in September 2024 as part of PS5 system update 24.06-10.00.00, replacing the Explore Hub seen for US PS5 owners. The feature provides widgets that detail various key information, such as remains battery levels in your DualSense controllers, storage, online friends and more, which can be removed and resized. The Welcome Hub would later roll out to other regions over the next couple of months.
